ANITA TO PERFORM AT THE MARY J. BLIGE 'BIG HONORS CONCERT

This spring, Mary J. Blige and ELLE magazine's Editor in Chief, Robbie Myers are hosting a charitable concert to support Mary's dream to give girls everywhere an education. Join FFAWN, May 1, 2011, at the Hammerstein Ballroom, for the second-annual "Mary J. Blige Honors Concert", hosted by Queen Latifah. One woman, One dream, One night! This unique concert will include a top-billing, knockout performance by ninetime Grammy award winning artist, Mary J. Blige along with her friends, Anita Baker, Christina Aguilera and Jill Scott, to mention a few.
Both Mary and Steve called on close friends and powerful entertainers from various genres, these women are A-List performers known for their vocal talent and stage presence. Each agreeing to lend their voice to FFAWN in the name of education for girls everywhere. Mary and her friends will share the stage to showcase their talents and inspire others to give back. The evening will honor the 2011 FFAWN scholarship recipients. All proceeds from event will directly benefit FFAWN's scholarship fund and will enable the organization to offer basic services directly to young women that address educational opportunities, higher education, scholarship programs, vocational training and job placement, self-esteem counseling and more. FFAWN's mission to provide women with the motivation and support they need to graduate from high school and continue to the collegiate level, has
always been our first priority.
In 2010, FFAWN sent twenty-five young women to college with full, fouryear scholarships. All 25 remain enrolled and maintained GPA scholarship requirements of a 3.00, eight (8) made the Dean's List their first semester.
